The Logistics Innovation for Trade Challenge Fund is a project of TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) whose main objective is to reduce the cost and time of transport and logistics in East Africa. The Challenge Fund aims to promote innovation that will lead to improved efficiency and service quality within the EAC.
LIFT is inviting Project Concept Notes (PCNs) from private companies in the industry and those providing services to it and intending to operate in the EAC. Grants of between $150,000 and $1,000,000 will be awarded to successful applicants who will be required to provide matching funds of at least 50% of the project value. The application period for the submission of Project Concept Notes will remain open from 18th of April 2016 till 12th August 2016.
LIFT is organizing an event in Kampala, Uganda on the 3rd of May.
The event will be held in the Sheraton Hotel from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
